    My mom's Tiguan has a similar setup. There are two large card holders at the bottom of the center stack/front of the center console (right in front of the shifter) that could probably hold insurance cards or anything else around that size. On the top of the center stack, there are two smaller card holders that could probably hold something around the size of a credit card. Not sure how many people really use these holders (normally I keep all of my bank/credit cards in my wallet and my insurance and registration stays in the glovebox), but they're handy when you need a place to put a card or something similar and want it to be easily accessible.
