What is wrong with my car? -'09 Rogue

I just bought a used 2009 Nissan rouge today when I test drove it I herd a loud noise coming from the back they told me there was a knot in the tire and they would order me some tires and for me to come back and pick them up latter on this week ... Well as I was on my was home tonight the car was whining when I would mash the gas but if I let off the gas it would stop and it just continued to do that what could it be ?

    You need to have one of the Service Tech's take a drive with you in the vehicle to trouble shoot the noise.
