Hi, my Saturn Ion Quad leaks bad when it rains. GM did something a couple of years ago but that didn't last. Has anyone had this problem and had it resolved?

I believe the usual cause is clogged drain (s), and the permanent fix would be to park it in a garage forever so it doesn't get exposed to stuff that could clog them again. The other thing it may be is seal. While not exactly watertight it should be close enough if working correctly.

Don't have a garage, wish I did!!! What is the usual charge to have someone work on it? GM did it for nothing the first time.

I have a 2007 Ion which had the same problem. Mine turned out too be the sunroof drain lines were clogged. There is a soft rubber line at each corner of the sunroof, the front lines run down the windshield pillars and out the bottom rear of the front fenders, while the rear lines run down the rear quarter pillars into the trunk and out through the trunk floor. They are a real pain to clean as they were filled with seed pods from trees and all other kinds of junk. Once I cleaned them out and made certain they were draining properly, I have not had the flood problem since. Just make sure the sunroof seal is intact and in good shape. Now it just won't run due to starting problems. It's always something. Good luck and let me know if this helps.
