    Add 2% to the residual to go from 15K/yr to 12K/yr

    based off .079 MF and 51% residual
    36 months 15k per year

    How do you find put the net capitalized cost?  Never leased and just trying to figure out if buying or leasing is my best option since I tend to trade evey 3-3.5 years.  Even a ball park payment would suffice. Thanks

    The net capitalized cost is the negotiated selling price of the vehicle adjusted for rebates and lease cash (subtracted) and any fees and taxes (added). This becomes an important number in the calculation of a lease payment.

    If you trade out every 3 years, consider a lease. The only thing to remember is that you have a mileage limit (10, 12, or 15K miles per year) - if you exceed this, you pay a penalty per mile.

    I don't think the MF is right .. the current MF for the S4 Prestige is .00079 and 36/12 residual is 53%.

    We would need to know the MSRP in order to model a payment.
