Opinions needed on 93 Geo

We are considering buying a 93 Geo with 185k mi for our daughter. She is a student with limited income and needs something reliable for a couple of years. Seller is asking $1750 and says it is bullet-proof. Any suggestions what to look for/ask about the car?

    Actually the mileage is 135k.
