Need advice with used car title

I recently bought a truck from another man. The car is titled to another woman. The title has the signature of the woman on the signature of the seller line and the signature of the man is on the signature of the buyer line. It appears that the man never had the car officially titled in his name even though he signed the title saying he bought the truck. I now have the title without my name on it and a bill of sale from the man. My question is, will I be able to title the car in my name and if not what should I do? Thanks for the advice.

I'm thinking the guy you bought the truck from is a "flipper" or a "curbstoner" and he flipped the truck to you.
This may or not cause you a problem at the DMV.
Just bought a 2001 Dodge Dakota and love the truck but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem I went to leave from work and started the truck and when I took off It was barely moving I looked down and noticed that it had change from 2 wd to 4 wd I never touch switch cant figure out how it changed anyway I turned truck off and switched back to 2 wd and started it back up but its like it was stuck in the middle because it would barely move all it would do is rev up so I turned it off for about 10 minutes and when I started back up it was back to 2 wd and ran fine but now this has happened two more times been on 4wd when I start it is there a reason for this or is this common for this to happen. thanks
