Help I'm new. Nissan 300ZX battery won't charge

ok so just bought my 1987 300zx turbo and the battery wont charge the fuel pump starts running right when i connect the battery and none of my accessories work so if someone could help me out would be grate i already checked the accessories relay in the kick panel and the fuel pump fuse there both in working order if there is another relay somewhere that im missing or something, like the title stated im new to this car so eny info someone could give me would be greatly appreciated
