    Glad to hear the i3 is fun to drive. Too bad most owners will never drive it aggressively. I would love to see this car with a BMW motorcycle engine and a dual clutch gearbox.

    I would presume it's fun UNTIL the battery runs out in which case you'll be limping home with the accelerator floored just trying to get it up to the speed you need it to. At that point, you better put your hazard lights on.

    I little planning goes a long way.... so either recharge there, or leave enough range to get home.... (one can complain that if you take BMW M3 to follow a Jeep-trail - then you have to limp home without a front bumper and scratched wheels.... but of course a sensible person would not do that ?)

    I would not be too sure about that. I recently witnessed an i3 leaving a C300 in the dust easily. Anti-BMW people may gloat all they want but performance and fun to drive are still best reasons to drive a BMW.

    im coming from a 128i

    a GREAT handling car

    so its an unfair comparion
