Left headlight won't light

2009 GMC Sierra 2500 Right headlight works perfect. Left headlight will not light. We have tried 2 replacement bulbs. What else should we check??

    Did you use a test light and check for power to the headlight on the orange wire? If there is no power there, and the fuse for the left headlight is good then the circuit must be open in between those two points. The other two wires (pink for the high beam, yellow for the low beam) go to splices where both the right hand and left hand headlights are controlled by the head light switch which provides the ground connection.
