I don't own a truck, so I can't really comment, but looking at the before and after pictures and I'm wondering if you should've gone with something like Black instead. From that picture it doesn't seem to have that shine that the original one has and looks a little off since its a similar color. Maybe that's normal in a truck, though, I dunno.

Black would have been better IMO, some color matched sprays just don't look right. Still looks 10x better than the bare bed.

I agree with the other posters that I think Black may have been a better choice. The last picture shows a nice contrast and looks like it reflects what you were saying regarding the lighting. odd that the F-150 came out almost perfect looking in the pics. Also since you have the Black bed rail caps anyway I would have saved the money. In any case good post I hope they are giving you a discount by now.

I think the colour is fine, just a little dark is all.

i didn't take it that line x is a sponsor, just that they like spray-on bed liners... a lot. and i can see why. and i do appreciate that they took a chance on the color (almost) match bed liner; i'm not a fan of this example, also would have gone with black, but looked really nice on the ford so it looks like it is very vehicle/color dependent.

The color looks better in person than it does in photos. If I were getting a spray-in bedliner for a personal Ram 1500, I, too, would go with this color rather than black.

Yes. And in the case of a bright/medium color like this, even if the match isn't perfect I tend to think a darker variant of the base color is less jarring than black would be. On the other hand, people are accustomed to black because of slide-in bedliners. Black was ideal for the Colorado because it's dark gray to begin with. In that case it was 100% complimentary.

We've been toying with the idea of equipping our trucks with spray-on bedliners for awhile. We tried to include factory ones when we bought our F-150 and Colorado, but supply issues caused us to miss out in both cases. I don't think dealers like them when placing dealer stock orders because they eliminate the profit opportunity that comes with selling third-party bedliners and such. From their POV, its easier to add than subtract.
