Buy 2015 Pilot Touring 4x4 or wait for 2016?

I live in Richmond,VA and have been looking at buying a 2015 Honda Pilot Touring 4x4. Price quoted $36,166.00 for the selling price and OTD $38,283.01. I am frugal and trying to decide if it is worth the price reduction to purchase the 2015 or wait for 2016. I can probably get the 2015 price down further, have not started serious negotiation. Pros / Cons? Thank you!

One advantage (to me) of the old style is that it's boxier (and I like boxes).
The new one is lighter and is supposedly quieter than the current model (and Hondas have a reputation of being noisy).

I don't like that you must get either the Touring (starts at $41k) or the Elite (starts at $46k) to get any of the new safety features. Also unlike previous models, you can no longer get the rear power outlets or roof rails unless you go for the top two trims. They are not available in the EX, EX-L any longer.
Besides for the '15 and '16 Pilots, we have the '15 Toyota 4Runner on our list as well. Now granted I'm in the very small minority that actually takes the SUV off the pavement out onto the beach, mud, gravel and also use it for the Utility aspect of it rather than that of an oversized Minivan like 80% of people who drive them do. So I have to be very picky when it comes down to it for us.
Do your research and make the choice that is best for you, not just the Price.
