No one seems to ever remember that Acura came out with torque vectoring AWD back in 2005, and it sounds more sophisticated than Porsche's system.

From the picture Porsche sends power rear to front while Acura's SH-AWD sends it front to back AND side to side as needed to find the tire with the most grip or counter understeer and oversteer. http://www.automotiveaddicts.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/2015-acura-mdx-sh-awd-advance-gauge-cluster.jpg SH-AWD always accelerates from a stop with the power 50/50 front and back and transfers to mostly front if no slip is detected. It's interesting to watch it work on a slick surface constantly transferring power front and back and side to side to get the car moving on ice and snow as each tire's traction is changing.
