Always liked the exterior of the car, and performance. What I want to see that will or will not make me a buyer is the interior and driver visibility.

I finally got to drive a Camaro SS...what a piece of junk! The engine felt okay, but the exhaust was muted, the interior felt super cheap, it handled bad, the transmission didn't seem involved, and it all sucked! I hope the new one is better. I drove the Mustang and that felt much better in every way. Good luck GM, I am pulling for you! PS...I bet the Z/28 is pretty awesome ;)

I seriously doubt henry4hire test drove an SS 1LE which has similar underpinning to the Z/28 and therefore is a different beast from the regular SS. Still, the present Camaro is too heavy in any form. They have poor visibility and cheap interior. I hope the next Camaro will improve on these aspects. If the next SS 1LE weighs 3700 lbs or less and improves visibility, then I'll buy one on the spot. Fingers crossed.
