Any tips for why my Liberty is Jerking and Jolting when you are driving it at low speeds? I reported the problem to Dodge, they said they updated the computer which was the issue, promised it was fixed, gave me a two year safety inspection and sent me on my way. Needless to say, the problem is not fixed and not knowing much about car lingo, I'm not sure what to suggest to the dealer might be wrong with it...and I don't want to get BS'ed again and pay for a problem they haven't fixed.

Cheers,

Best thing to do is have a tech hook up his test equipment and then drive the car, and capture the data being sent by the various sensors and modules at the exact time of the malfunction. This could be a misfire, or a fuel delivery issue. However, if there's no problem at higher speeds, it's probably not fuel pressure. With a misfire, it should be worse as you climb a hill. But there are other possibilities too.

Save yourself time and money if your spark plugs are 40,000 or less wires are not more that a couple of years change the computer otherwise you will end up replacing every moving part including the rear view mirrors.

only in a jeep well I know I will never buy another and this is not the only vehicle where the computer integration has ruined customer confidence they make asmuch from selling you parts (that do not fix the problem) the codes are erroneous every time I have had a issue the first code has been "cam sensor" and it never is I have a collection of them I will bet I can replace the one in with any of the others and it will run fine
