That perfect profile picture reminds me again of how much I hate the mandatory black wheels that come with the sport package. Combine that with the very plain exterior and the car looks like a development mule.

My 2015 will be here in 3 days (according to Ford anyway). First thing I'm doing after signing papers is have the dealer swap out my wheels. Second thing I'm doing is an exhaust. I "de-contented" a premium enough over the $46k loaded Ford press cars that I'm coming out way ahead on price even with the mods. Saving a little weight too (exhaust is 30lbs lighter and wheels are 10lbs apiece lighter). Without the sub in the trunk I figure I'm saving close to 100lbs over stock.

No amount of V-anything could make me forget those craptastic wheels. :-(

About to order a 2016 on May 11th and I've driven both the GT PP and non-PP back2back for 30minutes each. Despite all of that time with each version I still can't decide on which is the better option for me. I'm leaning PP as I actually like the stiffer suspension, chassis, and better brakes, but I really dislike the 3.73 gears. Hoping beyond hope that Ford gives us the option of ordering a PP with 3.55 gears - that would be the perfect combo for my daily driver needs.

Even if it isn't available in the Performance Package, you can always order a 3.55 from Ford and have it installed. One of the few cars around this customizable. And you'll have all the other goodies that come with.
