My 98 Bonneville air stays hot even when i switch it to cold in the winter its stay hot

The blend door within the heat box has malfunctioned, or
Vacuum to mentioned function, either possibility has left the setting on heat, beats my past winter, my vehicle was on cold, didn't stay very warm!!
