not sure what to think about this one, my engine cooling fans work great as long as the low coolant level sensor is unplugged if I plug the sensor back in the cooling fans quit working any ideas?

The cooling fans only run once the engine is hot enough that the PCM commands them on. (or if the AC is on and the high side pressure rises to a given point) Unplugging the sensor causes the PCM to recognize the circuit failure so it turns the fans on as a response since it then doesn't know what the engine temperature really is.

Is there another symptom that has you concerned with the fans? Normal turn on temperature will be between 225f-230f.
