2000 Montana no back up lights

I tested the wire from tail light to plug in pnp,tested good. no continuity from pnp plug to fuse box. I ran a jumper wire from fuse box to tail light assembly put selector in reverse and the light came on. Is it a bad pnp or the wires from pnp to fuse box.

I found a broken wire in the plug, fixed it and now have backup lights. thanks for your help.
