Tires & Leasing
Hello Honda Fans,
I just leased a 2015 Pilot and am loving it so far. One question for people who have leased in the past. At lease end, I have to turn it in with a minimum tire tread remaining. I'm wondering what experience others have had with the factory tires. Is it typical to have to replace them in the first 3 years/36000 miles? I know it depends on how you drive, etc, but looking for general feedback.
Thanks in advance!

I've turned in SUVs (BMW and Nissan) with over 50K on the original tires and passed inspection. Turned in an Infiniti sedan last year with 36K on the tires, and no issues. So, it's not a given that you'll have to replace tires.
Schedule your turn-in inspection about 3 weeks before... the inspector will let you know if they passed, and the charges if they didn't. Then, make your decision on tires, then.
