I need a few answers, My wife and I were heading to the grand prix, I stoped her to ask her a few question as she was heading to door. Thank God. After about 6 minutes, she started to get in the car , all of a sudden she yells for me and tells me the car is on fire. I headed to the car that was parked just outside the house. I can and turned on the hose, by that time the whole car engulfed in flames. the fire started in the area between the engine compartment and the passenger windshield. I am sure glad the we had the conversation or she would have been in the car. I would like to find out if there is anything I could do. I would like to report it some where but have no idea where to start.
Well thanks for reading this. sign what now. john

Sorry to hear about your fire accident. That must have gotten your heart racing!

Yes, you can report this incident to Safercar.gov, which is an arm of the DOT and the NHTSA.

My 2004 Grand Prix caught fire in the parking lot of my office on May 27. I received a recall notice on June 5 and GM will not do anything for me because the car is no longer in my possession. Poor excuse for a company.
