The warranty for the transmission expires in September. The previous owner took it into the Chevy dealership twice with the same problem two months ago.. However, there was no engine light and the dealer was unable to duplicate the problem. It has happened twice to me in the past month. Same problem, no engine light and I cannot duplicate it. From a stop, you press the gas and nothing happens and then after 2-3 seconds it pops into gear and lunges forward. Any suggestions on how to get the dealer to identify and fix this while under warranty? Could this be covered by the service bulletin TSB 4/18/2012, subject UNKNOWN or OTHER describing the need to replace the control solenoid - PCS? Thanks!

It turned out to be a problem with the fuel. The winter grade fuel in particular. I used a higher octane fuel and haven't had the problem since!
