Lease advice

Hi, I am currently looking at leasing or buying a new Audi A4. If I buy, I am budgeting about $45,000 and hoping to get the prestige trim. I can put down about $10,000.

I am not from the US, been living here about 6 years, so my short credit history here means a mid level credit score.
I earn 100k+ so income is not the issue.

My question is, should I lease and then in a few years when I have a better credit score look to buy or should I bite the bullet, buy now and pay a higher % rate?

Has anyone encountered a similar situation. Any advice at all would be gratefully received. Leasing is not a common option back in Ireland.

You'll pay higher lease rates, just like you'll pay higher finance rates, so that part of it is sort of a wash..

Just from a general standpoint, I'd rather keep that $10K in my pocket and lease with little down, then see where you are in three years. No point in buying, if you are planning on looking again in three years.
