Lexus RX350 - How to tell if it is AWD

Just bought an RX350 from a dealer. Was advertised as being the cold weather package - all wheel drive, tow package, all weather tires. My wife things we got frauded and were given a FWD. I called Lexus directly and gave them the VIN. They said it is a 4x4 which could be an AWD but that the transmission is slightly different. That made no sense to me. I called another dealer who said to read them the VIN.

VIN begins as 2T2B.
He said the first number 2 means made in canada, the next letter signifies toyota, the fourth letter he said B means AWD. Had it been FWD it would have been Z.

Can anyone tell me how I can tell for sure?

It's just like a dog... pull up it's tail and look underneath..

I think you can tell by whether it has the AWD lock button on the console. It's the one to the right of the traction control button.
