Jeep CEO Mike Manley said the mild update of the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is on target for next year and will be part of the brand's 75th anniversary celebration. But the Grand Cherokee's major redesign has been pushed back a year, maybe two.

    "... the upcoming three-row Jeep Grand Wagoneer, a new, longer, more expensive model that will be added to the Jeep line...". Translation, the newly reskinned, defunct Dodge Durango replacement. Which, of course, is simply an elongated Grand Cherokee chassis to begin with. :)

    Until the Grand Cherokee has the Active Lane Keeping system on my 2014 Cherokee, I'm not paying more to lose a rare safety feature only found on Mercedes and other expensive vehicles. Grand Cherokee needs to offer at least what the awesome Cherokee has.

    Kia has active lane keeping as does hyundai on cheap models

    its no longer restricted to expensive cars
