03 Jeep Liberty won't go past 1st gear.

I have an 03 jeep liberty 3.7 v6 4x4. we've had a transmission guy look at it and he said our transmission is toast. Well there is no shavings in the tranny fluid, and it's not black. We are getting a code of p0700 And We got the code for the shift solenoid and replaced it. We can put it in reverse neutral and first but that's as far as it goes. Has anyone else had this issue?

    I also have a 05 Jeep liberty it will not shift out of first, I was told I needed anew transmission so I replaced it! So now with the new transmission it is still doing the same thing won't shift out of 1st. And the only codes I'm getting are abs codes C1020, C1035, C101F, and C1042. Any ideas on what my problem is.
