Loading Software into the ECU
In May 2014 i imported a second hand Volvo S40 (Diesel, 2008 model) from UK (am in Botswana, Africa). I only drove it from May-September 2014 and hasn't moved since then. i happened that the engine went off one day when i was driving home from work, i had it towed to a Volvo dealer, they did the diagnosis was told i had to replace the injector pumps, temperature sensor, glow plugs, and ECU. i have since bought all these parts but now the problem is that they are failing to load the software into the ECU, they say it runs and stops before finishing. So what could be the problem?
