    I guess this is one of those situations GM's vibrating seat is probably the better solution.

    It has a two-stage warning system. First stage is the warning light. Second stage is the alarm warning if you have the blinker on when the warning light is also on. If you turn the blinker off the alarm will stop.

    The blinking and audio alerts are not the answer. The key is technologies that really assist you: braking when needed, aligning you center in the lane and maybe even making it more difficult for you to physically change into a lane where a vehicle is there.

    Eh, I'd rather be in control and just get the warnings. I, for one, do not want the auto-driving cars for myself.
