There are three different bed sizes available on the 2015 Ford F-150. Most crew cabs come with the smallest of the three to give it a more manageable overall size, but it can present some problems.

Mirrors and large pieces of glass should be transported upright like that. It lessens the chances of the glass cracking due to up and down motions being spread across a smaller surface. When you lay a large piece of glass flat, the whole thing can ripple like a pool and it's easier to cause stress fractures.

Unless you regularly carry people in the back seat you should skip the crew cab. Get the super cab version with the normal bed length.

Maybe Edmunds will get a longer bed length in their next truck. But probably not.

Hooey. The rear seat of the Crew Cab F150 is one of its best assets. The 6'5" bed is also a big plus, unless you work in a downtown urban area. I have driven a 2010 and now a 2015 Super Crew with the 6'5" bed and the ability to carry people and stuff without drama is one of the truck's strong points. Trip to the beach with 4 people, beach chairs, luggage, huge coolers and lots of stuff? No problem at all.

That mirror wouldn't fit inside the cab?
