Hello my 2003 dodge neon sxt 2.0 is having overheating issues after three years. We have replaced the radiator, radiator hoses, thermostat, and the serpentine belt. What else could be causing this? Sometimes I can drive it with no trouble other times it gets too hot and I have to turn it off and coast. I've also noticed that if it's especially hot outside it's more prone to overheating. A/C works but I don't use it because it seems to exacerbate the issuse. I'm at my wits end, I can't afford another car. Please help.

Mechanic told me there were no issues he saw with head gasket and was 100% sure it was serpentine belt slipping. When the hose busted on me it got some coolant on the belt and kept causing it to slip, I washed it off when some rubbing alcohol and i drove fine for another two months. It also was fine for a week after changing the belt.
