Anyone have the current MF, Residual and dealer acquisition fee (if possible) for the Milwaukee, WI area on the A4 Premium Plus, Tiptronic, Quattro (w/Tech, Sports, Sports Plus and S-Line packages)?

I just negotiated a 36-month lease, 10,000 annual miles, for a 2016 A4 Premium Quattro, to be ordered, equipped with Convenience package, cargo net, wood inlay. MSRP = $ 40,800. Cap Cost = $ 36,000. MF as of today = .001, residual 56%. I have locked those terms, but if they've improved by the time the car is delivered, I can use the then current MF and residual to arrive at a lower monthly payment. This is in the Los Angeles area: sales tax is 9%. The monthly will be $ 462 at today's rate, minimal driveoff of $ 1,618.

Hi,
I just leased a 16 A4 s sline quattro 2.0T premium plus with tech package and some other options. I was initially considering ditching the lease option because of the price, but figured it was within range for the car. I see here and other places what others have negotiated for mo. lease, now I'm wondering what I did wrong, as my lease is a bit over $600 mo (in VA) for 10k miles/yr for 42 months. I can provide all the other figures too if needed, but I'm thinking that I'm making a monthly payment for a $65,000 vehicle when that's not nearly the case for the A4. I didn't have any trade in to offset sale price, but it looks like I overpaid by at least $100 a month if not more. This is my first lease as I've always purchased or financed. If anyone has insight into what I did wrong so I can fix it next time, greatly appreciated!

42 months is not the sweet spot for Audi leases; 36 months is. That said, it's possible the dealer inflated the MF on you as well.

Also, VA is one of a few states that charges sales tax against the entire selling price, even for a lease - that alone will add $$$ to your lease payment compared to other states.

How much did you negotiate off sticker? Generally, 4-6% off is pretty good, but I don't know if that holds true for the just released 2016's.

Next time, check in with us first and we will give you the information to be better prepared to negotiate with the dealer.

Base was just under 40, + options was about 48 and received about 5% off that, but add back in for some extras (audicare, etc) and the taxes/fees. Based on my mo. payment, seems like I'm paying about $26k for the 42 months, with the option to purchase at the end for about $22. They indicated a residual value of somewhere around 50-55%. I guess I'm just paying a lot up front, which since I don't plan to buy the car at the end, is wasted money.
When they showed me the leasing options, 42 months was actually the lowest payment. Is there something I should have asked to be changed in the leasing formula so that my monthly payment was lower and the buyback amount at the end higher?

FWIW, Audi's generally do not lease well compared to the competition (MB or BMW)

I made a deposit on a 2016 A4 Premium Quattro, with Convenience package, all-weather floor mats, wood inlay. MSRP = $ 40,255. Terms are $399/month with $2,800 due at signing (first month, tax, acquisition, capital, etc.) for 36-month lease, 15k annual miles. This is in SE Pennsylvania.

The deposit is refundable and I have a few weeks before I need to make a decision. Does this seem like a fair deal? Also, would it make sense to get 12k miles and pay any mileage difference at the end as there is only a 5 cent difference in paying after and lower miles would increase the residual?

Sorry for all of the questions, I am fairly new to this. I don't have any of the other numbers, but was planning on contacting the dealership to get all the numbers for review.

The 9000 miles you get on a 15K/yr lease will cost you 2% of the MSRP, or $805. That's a little under $0.09 per mile.. So, that's a pretty big difference from the $0.20 per mile they will cost you at lease end. Your break-even point is a little under 13,500 miles/year... so, I suggest taking the 15K/yr allowance.
