I confirm the numbers I quoted originally. Dealer is not allowed to modify the residual, but an 18K miles per year lease would be 2% lower than the 15K residual.

Yes, divide the percentage by 2400 to get the MF expressed as a decimal value.

Looks like a solid deal, given the rebates. We wouldn't recommend putting any money down on the lease, however - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money. $700 works out to an extra $19-20/mo on the payment.

Nope, the higher residual is offset by the fewer number of payments - and the slightly higher MF.

For Ford, they don't change as often as other manufacturers .. residual information is only updated quarterly; the MF changes monthly.

63% and 1.0% for 24/10.5

54% and .75% for 36/10.5

$1500 lease cash.

Wow.. is the MSRP actually $30,490?
$8000 off between discount and rebate? That's stellar.

I show 0.50% APR, but I don't have the NJ region numbers, so 0.75% APR could well be correct, and either way, not much of a bump. My calculations come in a few dollars lower, but I'm converting it to a money factor and using actual APRs results in a little higher payment, so that looks okay.

Of course, all of the options are equivalent.... just a change in how much money upfront... You could have them calculate it with just the first payment due, if you want. Should come in around $251/mo.

As noted by my co-host, .50% is the base MF for the Fusion this month, but the Ford numbers are very regional ... and, we don't have all the regions data.

But, residual is correct.

Total sales tax. NJ taxes the total of payments plus any upfront money and collects it at inception. Those quotes indicate adding that amount to the CAP cost (so, it's included in the payment).

Seems like a pretty reasonable payment for a $29K MSRP car. It would help to know the NET CAP cost.
