What are they smoking at GM? Z71 comes only with LT trim AND you have to order a $3k Luxury package to get $1700 of the suspension . Bag. That. Noise. How much for the work truck version with the off road suspension? As for the crap throttle response, GM has done that for years, especially on CA emissions equipped vehicles. My 2001 Tahoe in CA trim had no part throttle response at all.

With its longer and lower shape, and all the chrome on the grill, the new Suburban looks like GM's homage to the Ford Flex. That plus its weakening off-road cred shows it's moving more toward being a tall full-size station wagon than its original concept as a truck turned family hauler. But that's more appropriate for its customer base of families who need to haul people, gear, and a trailer with some occasional light off-roading. I don't think contractors are going to buy a $60k work truck.

My neighbor bought one a few months ago and it's been in the shop so much he's ready to get rid of it. That new direct injected engine has a lot of problems.
