BMW 428i Convertible Lease - Help
I am about to lease a BMW 428i Convertible and need some help with the lease terms that the dealer is throwing out.
MSRP 58525
Negotiated Price 55894
Cap Costs include:
negotiated price
acq fee(975/bmw site says 795)
Dealer fees (125)
Total Taxes (2925) - Never had taxes rolled in the cap costs before
Pay Off for my current car (753.56)
Total = 60,746.14
MF = 0.00170; I am not happy about this since I have excellent credit. Dealer says that they mark up all of their leases. Doing me a favor because he could mark it up by .125.
Residual = 59% on 15k
With Current negotiations we are at $875/month. This does include all taxes and fees as you see above. This is the last convertible they have, but they have told me that this is the final deal with no movement on the MF. Should I run? Does this seem fair? Doesn't it cost more to roll the taxes on the front end since I will be paying interest on that. I have not told them, but I will be putting down $2K on the car.

As far as the money factor. .00170 is the maximum markup. BMWFS doesn't permit dealers to markup the MF more than .00040. Just because they markup all of their leases doesn't mean you have to accept it.
