I am trying to pick a lease and seeing if I am making a bad decision. I am trading in an Audi Q5 with 16,000 payoff-- Dealer giving me 27,900 for trade in

Lease 2015 Chevy Tahoe 2015 LT with options, MSRP $61,540

36 months 0 extra down, 10k miles, looking at $421 rv is around 29,500
48 months 0 extra down, 10k miles, looking at about $411 a month RV is around 34,400

Not sure how the payment is less on 36 months?? Am I getting hosed here? Am I making a bad decision. I have signed tentative papers (havent gotten in the dealer trade) on the 48 but he said I could switch to 36

What is the selling price?

Unfortunately, we don't have the Chevy lease numbers for August, so we won't be able to tell you if the money factor is being marked up.

Also, are you applying the entire trade equity to the down payment on the new lease? We don't recommend that - if the new car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

If you haven't taken delivery, there may still be time to unwind the deal and start over.

selling price is 55,000... it seems like the deal is better than most I have been able to get on this unit with this situation. I have read your advice on the big down payment-- my issue is wanting a lower payment-- i did read your stuff on why you dont want to put a lot down.

Do you want to drive a leased vehicle out of warranty? Generally the best numbers are for 36 month leases.

about to lease a new LTZ tahoe. $69k msrp. 39 month with 10k per year. $835 per month with no cash required except for first months payment. Good deal? Looks like sell price is $62k.

2015 Tahoe LTZ 39/10 - .00080 and 52%. $200 lease cash.

Using your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $748.

What state and tax rate? What is the net cap cost, if you're rolling in the fees to the lease?
