Help with registering car in Texas

I just moved from Oregon (a no Sales Tax state) to Texas. I'm looking to register my car here and need some help filling out the necessary forms. I can do it myself by reading the instructions online, but they're kind of complicated. Can anyone direct me to somebody who knows the procedure and would be willing to help me fill it out?

Forms are a pain most anywhere. We moved to New Mexico about a year ago and I made one trip to DMV just as a dry run. The clerks were very helpful and the lines aren't bad here for either licenses or titles. After that trip, I got some more proof of residency docs organized and went back a month later. Same deal, no lines, nice clerk and getting registered, plates and the license went smoothly.

If you moved to Big D or Houston or Austin where (I guess) there are long waits, then ask around to see if AAA or some other outfit contracts out to do this kind of stuff (I know they have that in California).
