Has anyone actually had their transmission fixed? 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk

The transmission issues with 2014, 2015 Cherokee is well documented, with remedies offered by Jeep up to and including full trans replacement. But I have yet to hear of anyone experiencing long term full fix. Anyone?
While I still love the car, we are at the stage where the only fix left is trans replacement (waiting for Jeep to approve).

I have 2015 V6 Trailhawk, but was early production model. It has had transmission problems and I have had many flashes. The last flash did allow it to now shift into 8th gear. I have recently driven a late production 2015 V6 Cherokee Limited and the later production model ZF transmission worked much better that mine!! However, maybe tranny flashes won't do it and a newer replacement transmission is a must.

Thanks for the comment, but it became obvious that even full transmission replacement would likely just forestall being seriously stranded in a not very good place. We traded the Cherokee for a Grand Cherokee last week. Truly sad, but we just couldn't take the risk.

    Hello,
I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 164K (all highway for work). Last week the service transmission message popped up on my dash. The car went into limp mode. I limped my way to my mechanic who checked it out the next morning. When he got into the car it showed no messages, no limp mode and no check engine light. He drove it 70+ miles, but couldn’t get the message to come back. I picked it back up, made it 30 miles and the message came back. I brought it back to the shop, but the message shut off by the time I got there. They ended up flushing the transmission. That didn’t help. 100 miles later and the message came back. The weird part is that if I come to a quick stop, the message goes away. Message also goes away when I put it into park, and then back into drive. To further this, if I leave it in sport mode the message won’t come up at all. Only seems to happen when the car is in auto mode. No one can figure out what is going on. Anyone out there have a problem like this before?
