Truck won't start after bed removal

I removed my 1997 Dodge 1500 truck bed to replace a brake line and when I put the bed back on (after the bed sat for a week on the ground), I bolted & hooked all the connections back up, and now I have problems starting it and keeping it running unless I keep my foot down on the gas pedal. It also is losing power, like something is grounding out the battery. When I removed the bed, it starts and runs with no problem. Any suggestions?
