Got more detail today. 36/7.5, $3700 down (just fees). MSRP $57,520, adjusted base $54,500. $670/mo. Confirmed .00129 and 60%. He offered to throw in the maintenance, and if I didn't want it, he'd lower the adjusted base to $53,500 or $641/mo. This competitive?

I confirm the calculations.

Only way to improve on them is to negotiate a better selling price.

The guy said he couldn't give me a better discount because I was ordering the car. Any HELP?

If we assume $2000 for first payment, acquisition fee and title/license fees, then that leaves $5000 for CAP cost reduction.

With a CAP cost of $54,200, the payment is $584/mo.+tax = $622/mo.

That's not a long way from where you are at $637/mo.

Going from 7.5K/yr to 10K/yr will lower the residual by 1%. That will raise the payment about $18/mo.

The residual is set by the bank and cannot be altered.

Dealer is allowed to mark up the MF for more profit.

Lease is for 36m / 12k miles.

I read putting extra money down is not such a great idea to get my payments lower. Is this a good deal and how else can I get my payments lower

You can do Max of 10 and each one lowers your money factor by .00007 or .0007 if 10 are used. This lowers your rate by over half which saves you about 60 dollars a month. Once your leaself is done you get the money back from MB Financial.

Thank for the help. I looked into the MB First Class Lease Program for MSD and it explained it pretty good. The only thing I had trouble finding is if NJ is participates in this option. I emailed them and are waiting back to hear.

NJ should be fine. New York does not allow MSDs.
