I was just told my water pump is leaking.

Is this a DIY replacement job and should I get a complete pump or a new seal?

    You can't replace the seal, You need a new pump.

    I know I have a lot of quality tools and some mechanical abilities but I can tell you, this is a job I sure wouldn't tackle! It's not a 1965 Chevy!

    The water pump jobs we used to think were nasty would be a walk in the park compared to a modern car.
