First, Infiniti adds the LWB version of the Q70 instead of introducing a completely new model as a flagship. Now they basically do the same exact thing to this decade-old car and expect to compete? Seriously, Infiniti, keep proving how lost you really are and now lazy your efforts have become. These moves on top of continuing the sale of the G instead of creating a brand new entry-level sedan just makes you more and more irrelevant. Oh, and btw, the Q30 and QX30 will both basically be a joke when they are introduced.

Their entire lineup is outdated. I guess thats what happens when Renault controls the purse strings.

From the criticisms that the QX50 was outdated and that the long wheelbase change to the former EX was a "joke", I expected little from it. After driving it and getting my wife's input, I've found the QX50 to be both a pleasure to drive and a bargain. I didn't want the Deluxe Touring Package at first, but now I'm happy to have the 19" wheels (they look better now that I've grown used to them) and adaptive lighting. I'm looking forward to taking my wife and two kids on our first road trip in it. While I don't think it can compete with our Honda Odyssey for long distance comfort, but it will certainly be better than our Subaru Forester. I wish it came with the surround sound system as found on the Infiniti Q70, but the 11-speaker system it comes with is OK for the price.

I have a 2016 QX50 that my wife drives daily, I will drive it on the weekend. I had an RDX before and the QX50 is a much nicer car. Everything about the RDX was cheap and the handling was awful. The QX50 is nice but it feels outdated. Very tight inside, you cannot put 2 cups of coffee in the cup holder between the front seats. The navigation is old and believe it or not, Infiniti has a problem pairing with iPhones, there are only a couple of million of them around, go figure. The car on the road is great, plenty of power and it handles great at speed. Steering is heavy at low speed. Its relatively comfortable for smaller car. I doubt I would get another but so far no major complaints

Have a '16 QX50 AWD, purchased used in 8/19 with just 6,500 miles. $45 Sticker New and after 3 years, $23K Used was too good to pass up. This vehicle to me is 370Z with a back seat, and 2 doors. Fast, really scoots, nimble, sure footed, can take abuse, reliable, sturdy, Japanese Build Quality, Perfectly Sized, THE Original Crossover Pioneer way ahead of its time.
Suffers an identity crisis from all the names since '08, but the '16 & '17 with fresh grille, and added room is a poor man's Macan, a Stubby Shooting Brake, a low production numbered future JDM classic. Needless to say, I'm a fan. Criticisms, sure there's a few... Seat is too high, you want to slink lower like you're in a Z car but the seat base is as tall as milk crate. Sounds bit noisy in today's day and age, but then again, it does scream to life when gas pedal is pressed aggressively which really isn't too much of complaint. Factory '19 tires p45 / 245 Bridgestone Potenzas are bit too weenie, but can be upsized when worn. All in all, this 2008 technology is still rather on par with any 2020 crossover out there today. This Nissan Skyline 370 GT branded as an Infiniti QX50 here in the states is one fine JDM import that one really shouldn't overlook if in the market for pocket rocket crossover on the cheap.
