I just drove a 2013 F-150 Platinum EcoBoost SuperCrew 6.5' bed and found the tow mirrors to be VERY useful in finding lane markings, particularly for someone who doesn't always drive a vehicle this wide.

I had a 2012 Super Crew F250 long bed as a company vehicle for ~8 months. Same mirror layout as the Edmunds F150. Best. Mirrors. Ever. They made that huge beast super easy to park and maneuver through traffic. It's been two years, and I still miss that truck.
