Saw a Sign and Go deal online. $0 down, $0 due at signing after $3525 cash from Ford includes up to $275 first month's payment. In Arizona, what is the MF, residual for 24 and 36 months low mileage lease, 10.5K? Thanks.

    1.00 % APR and 63% residual
    1.75% APR and 56% residual

$2000 lease cash and 1st payment covered up to $300 on the Sign and Go deal.

I'll assume FWD since you are in Dallas.

    24/15 - 59% and 1.00%

    36/15 - 53% and 1.75%

Another question...do I convert the 1.75% to .000175? Having trouble with this part. Cap cost is 32,906 (includes tax, title, license)
If I do 36/15 at 53% residual I am coming up at 438.04 but I think I'm calculating it wrong. Is a Ford Escape not a good route to go lease wise right now? Looks like the Rogue is much better, like you said...

No, divide the 1.75% by 2400 to get the equivalent money factor.

Ok, thank you. So money factor is .00072.
When I do the calculations here is what I am getting:
    Cap cost. 32,906
    Residual 53%. 32906 x 53%= 17440.18. (Residual value)
    32,906-17440.18=15,465.82
15465.82/36= 429.58 per month lease pmt
    32906+15465=48371 x .00072= 34.82
    429.58+34.82=464.40 total monthly lease pmt
    Is this right?

No - the residual is applied to the MSRP (bottom line number of the window sticker, including destination charge).

    All other calculations are correct.

Re: 2016 Ford Escape sign and go deal in Arizona. Is that deal good for only the base model SE or can I add options such as leather, power lift gate, etc.? If so, does that affect residual and MF?

Options within the same trim line do not affect the MF or residual.

Michaell- thank you for all of the help yesterday with my Escape. Did my recalculations, and the Escape was still too expensive. Even when I was taking away their $900 holdback and giving them $100 over true dealer cost, I couldn't go that high for what the monthly lease payments would be. The residual wasn't as good as the Rogue. This was going to cause my payment to jump a LOT. But I told them where I needed to be on my payments, and they made it happen. They lost a lot of money in the process but end result is I got the car I wanted at the payment I was at on my 2012 Rogue that I leased. And it even had more options that I had not requested (or included in the MSRP calculations). So I wanted to thank you for the info and the quick responses yesterday while I was in the process of working the deal and getting my car. It helped tremendously.

MrBill- we have the sign and go deal here right now (TX), and it only said SE on the Ford website. I asked if my model was allowed that, and my Ford dealership said all Escape models get it. So hopefully you should be good even if you went up to a Titanium like I did. I got the sign and drive and the first month lease payment deal within mine.
