These are certainly the best looking mini vans out there. I'm impressed with the crispness of the styling.

I would love to see reports of this car's ride & handling, given the woeful impressions by Edmunds in regard to past Hyundai/Kia long-term vehicles.

BTW, I never had anything quite so luxurious as my ride to school, but at various times I was delivered in: A '70 Mustang GT fastback, a mint '65 Thunderbird, an '84 Monte Carlo SS (all belonging to my dad at some point), and a 280ZX (when I would carpool with the neighbors).

Kia is not the first to offer these reclining middle seats. The current 2011-2015 Nissan Elgrand (Quest model in America) have these reclining middle seats in their Asian market. Sadly, that feature was not brought over here in North America with the Quest variant.

My only concern is that someone like the right side passenger in this picture would ride like that in actual driving. I'm sure Kia tested to make sure the seatbelts work adequately when slightly reclined but put the seat too far back and the belts not being seat-mounted could greatly increase the chance of injury in a collision. Even with seat-mounted shoulder belts it would still be easy to submarine under the lap belt if not careful.
