Key fob?

I bought a used 2012 Pilot today. And the key came with another, keyless fob. It has no buttons and no indication what it is for. Can anyone identify this for me?

Haven't found anything ....yet. It has a Low Battery light so it has to have SOME purpose, although that's eluding me for the moment. Some kind of additional security system perhaps? Not seeing anything in the 2012 manual. Since it's a used car, could it be something that the previous owner had that had nothing to do with the car?

It looks like some kind of proximacy sensor to me. Maybe there's a gizmo you're missing that helps your find your lost keys.
