Got a 93 GXE w/ 270K and is starting to slow down. Replaced injectors 2x, valve job 2x, and tranny 1x, and now starting to leak OIL. Wife will not give-up the car. Gents need some help here. Is this going to be some major work?

Is this going to be some major work?
    Yep.
Unless you have a fully equipped shop, you don't have the necessary equipment and tools to do this job. Not to mention the fact that the wiring harness and ECM are according to engine VIN.

Are you familiar with the term "CAN OF WORMS"?
They will be equipped differently as far as sensors and the computer to operate them.

in the 60s, this would still not be a piece of cake, but doable. you might have to have both the engine and tranny as a unit to insure you had all the right interconnecting parts and the sizes between them fit.

today, it takes an act of congress and a bunch of computer wizards.

if you don't mind a "junkyard wars" car, it can be done... but you are absolutely going to have to bring the computer from the DOHC engine over with it to be anywhere close to having it start.

I think you'd need a complete donor car right there with you.
