    The engine needs to be broken in before you start judging fuel economy.

    You need to end it to my wife for a week to get some real world numbers. She's averages about 16 mpg. With quite a few tanks 14 & under.

    Please keep in mind- the VCM Cylinder Deactivation has been in use by Honda since 2005 in the Odyssey Touring. Earth Dreams more specifically refers to Direct Injection, which is new to Honda. The Earth Dreams DI technology debuted with the 2013 Accord 4cyl and is spreading throughout the lineup (now on the CR-V, Pilot, Fit and Civic.)

    Earth Dreams does not refer to Honda's VCM Cylinder Deactivation, which is a separate technology.
