Charging System Failure
I had a charging system failure notice pop up about a week or so ago. We cleaned my terminals because the battery isn't very old and it went away. Had a check engine light come on so a friend looked at it and we had to change my MAP sensor. Light went away. This morning, it was a solid -2, I was waiting at a red light and the charging system failure popped up again but this time I noticed my car was idling really hard. 700-1500 rpms over and over all the while my charging system failure would pop up when it idled low.
Any thoughts would be great! This baby has 215k on it and these are the first issues I've had. I think we are just missing the real problem.
