Mercury Sable wiring short

I have a 01 mercury sable and I have a problem I never dealt with before, I have a short or something my gages are not working and my dome light, the light that indicates that my high beams are on stays on when car is off and my battery gets drained quick and when I put a jump back on the battery it starts then it shuts off after I remove the pack if anyone can help I would appreciate it
