Bought a 03 Corolla. 135000 miles It has coil overs as the suspension. Also has Konig hot swap 17" wheels with 215/45/17 tires. Tires have great tread but suck in snow. Also the ride is horrible. I believe do to the racing suspension? Can I remove the tricked out suspension and tires and put oem equipment instead? Or sell the car? Only had it month. Thanks

I'd call Tire Rack, they'll have tires, wheels, struts, shocks, and springs to get it back to stock. You'll have to decide if it'll be worth the money, over $1,000 for sure.

Thanks. I'm going to loose my shirt if I try to trade it.  The car looks cool. I bought it for my daughter not thinking about the snow.

How about just a set of stock diameter wheels and tires? Tire Rack can ship you a set mounted and balanced, ready to put on. They could go a long way to smoothing out the ride.

The original tires were 195/65R15. The tires it now are only .4" in diameter shorter, so maybe the car isn't lowered and you might be able to just get a set of wheels and tires for it and be good to go. As far as "coil overs" that is how these were designed. If the ride height has been changed you can get the original style shocks and struts with the original specification springs and mounts.

I don't think it was lowered. So to make the car handle better in snow, I could put oem wheels and tires? Can I leave the coil overs on for now and start with changing tires and wheels?
    thank you

Yes... just swap out for a dedicated set of winter tires/wheels. You can throw the 17" set back on in April
