Engine light and traction light

My engine light and traction light go on and my speed reduces drastically , my traction light with go off when Tahoe sits for a while but engine light will stay on for couple days then go off then lights both come on again with same issues. I just paid off my Tahoe last year, I'd really like to get this fixed is someone can please point next in the right direction please it would be appreciated greatly

    First step would be to have the car scanned for trouble codes--then if you wish you can bring those codes back to us and we can discuss further!

    Unless you are in California, most auto parts stores will pull the codes for free.
